Privacy Policy for NORA

Effective 15 October 2026. Published by NioCore, LLC ("NioCore").

Who uses NORA

NORA is a private assistant that NioCore operates solely for its owner's personal use. It has no other users, and it is not offered or sold to anyone.

What data NORA accesses

With the owner's consent, NORA reads the owner's own Gmail account using Google's read-only permission (gmail.readonly). It reads messages, their headers and their labels so that it can sort, summarise and remind the owner about his own mail. It cannot send, delete or change mail in Gmail.

How the data is used

Data is used only to provide NORA's features to the owner: triaging and summarising his mail, keeping track of what he has asked or been asked, and answering his questions about it. It is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to build profiles of anyone.

Where the data is kept and who sees it

Google API Services User Data Policy

NORA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through Google APIs is not used to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine-learning models.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept only as long as the owner needs it for NORA's features. The owner can remove NORA's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, after which NORA can no longer read the account, and can delete NORA's stored copies.
